Journal
Welcome,
If you’re reading this, I want you to know how glad I am that you’re here.
This space is where I’ll share a bit of who I am, what I’m learning, and why the work I do matters so deeply to me. While policy and legislation are part of my role, this won’t just be about politics. It will be about peoples lived experience, real conversations, and the everyday realities families across British Columbia are navigating.
As an MLA, I have the privilege of listening to stories that don’t always make headlines but deserve attention. This blog is a place to reflect on those stories, to explain the work happening behind the scenes at the Legislature, and to explore how decisions made in Victoria connect to real life at home.
My hope is that this becomes a space for understanding, transparency, and connection, one that is grounded in respect, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to the people I serve.
Thank you for being here. I’m grateful to walk this journey with you.
— Jody Toor, MLA
